Our Story

Zizzi started in 1999 with a big oven, a little wine, and a dream to serve Italian, our way. You'll know us for good times, bubbly pizza, and fresh pasta. We don’t do bland food, people, or restaurants! We’re bringing Team Zizzi to Margate, and we’re looking for vibrant Front of House Team Members to join our founding launch team.

About the Event & Role

We're doing things differently! Instead of a standard interview, we’re hosting an interactive 3-hour Recruitment Event on Tuesday, 13th October (11am – 2pm). It’s your chance to meet the team, discover what life at Zizzi is all about, and show us your personality in action.

As a Front of House Team Member (Waiter/Waitress), you set the tone. Service at Zizzi isn't about rigid scripts—we’re looking for real people who can deliver genuine hospitality. From the first hello to grating cheese like a pro, you'll ensure our guests have a feel-good experience. It’s fast-paced and hands-on, but always a team effort.

Key Milestone: Successful candidates from the event will start training together on 2nd November 2026!

What You’ll Do

Be a menu expert: Confidently recommend our delicious dishes, drinks, and desserts.
Own your section: Serve food and drinks with pride, managing tables efficiently while working closely with the kitchen and bar teams.
Add your own touch: Use your individuality to spot small details that make a big difference—like a surprise treat on a birthday!
Live our values: Aim to be better than yesterday, and bring high energy to support your team during busy rushes.
